Cheryl Livingston-Young

Western and Wildlife Artist

Cheryl Livingston-Young has been working and selling her art as a professional since 1995. While her primary subjects are wildlife and western, her work focuses, not so much on the particular animal or place in time, but her amazing ability to capture the realistic as well as her use of color and light. She spends many hours out in the field on wildlife photo shoots and all her works are painted from her own photographs. She is especially passionate about the wildlife living in the great Rocky Mountains of Utah and Colorado, the place Cheryl calls home.

Cheryl has recently returned from Alaska where she spent two weeks photographing the Alaskan wildlife. "It is truly the last of the great frontiers she states, after photographing in Denali National Park and seeing Mount McKinley you are changed forever".

The photo of Cheryl with Mount McKinley behind her was taken while she was on location in Denali National Park Alaska.
